Perfect pitch but fortunate choice

Visited on busy Mayday Bank Holiday weekend. Arrived early on Friday & were given choice of pitches. Selected pitch 80 which proved to be a good choice. Whilst close to toilet facilities we were on the quieter side away from play area. Large hardstanding area, that had sun on it all day. Pitches to the rear of the site appeared more crowded, with a large number of what seemed to be visitors. As has already been mentioned toilet facilities struggled to cope, but this was probably down to misuse rather than a general plumbing issue. Staff can only do so much- some people need to think about their actions when using communal facilities- hopefully they wouldn't leave their home in this state, but you never know! Comments about train & road noise are totally unnecessary, unless you have the very acute hearing. Access was never an issue, despite frequent closure of level crossing. Used cycle map to visit Littlehampton & local villages- nice easy ride along quiet flat roads. Issue of dogs seems to be a regular topic of conversation on Club sites. I love dogs, but the sound of two yapping Jack Russells, that barked every time another dog walked by their pitch, did start to wear a bit thin by the fourth day. A great site for dogs with a fully enclosed dog walk for them to let off steam. Visiting pizza van on Saturday was good value & very popular as it ran out long before the scheduled departure time. Recommend you get there early & don't leave it too late. Overall a very enjoyable break, obviously helped by the great weather.
