Booked this site simply to meet up with family nearby. It was very busy with only 2 std pitches available both close to the road junction which is relatively noisy. However after setting up, Pitch 44 we noticed a rather unpleasant smell (eggy, sour milk) on the pitch which was definitely the result of grey waste disposal, although not recent but it had not long rained & the sun had come out which made it more apparent. It needs investigating as even the membrane beneath the gravel is exposed & torn. I went & reported it to the warden & requested the non awning pitch opposite if it was not booked out. Fortunately, it was available for our stay, had it not been, not sure what we would have done.
