This site is one of the most beautiful we have visited. The owner is friendly and helpful, the site is perfectly situated to explore the stunning countryside and the quiet little village of Newcastleton. Pitches are hardstanding, with electric hookup. Water points are dotted around the site. There is a motorhome service point. The toilet facilities are immaculate, and for the lasses, the facilities are set up inside the toilet block as self contained cubicles with a shower, toilet and basin for total privacy - "like an en-suite", as the owner says. (The cubicles are wet rooms, and the shower takes a little while to drain away, as with all wet rooms, but that's not a problem as you have the space all to yourself). The site is landscaped to perfection, with trim lawns, ponds, resident ducks and a well stocked information hut complete with books and dvds. Quiet, peaceful, a hidden gem that we feel really chuffed to have discovered.
