I know where you are coming from my last experience of the female warden here was upon arrival kept outside in the cold it was December and we had just had a 3 hour journey up the A1 to get there. Road works everywhere, and when I was allowed in I said hello what a terrible journey we have just had, her reply was "Do you want to book in" no hello or smile. I then realised that I had accidentally booked a serviced pitch which we never book at Knaresborough and was told that I was annoying as a previous arrival had wanted a serviced pitch and they were staying 10 nights ! I apologised and explained that I had been having eye surgery and that must have been the mistake. I offered to go see the person who wanted a serviced pitch and tell them, but she declined that offer. I was made to feel a nuisance and unwelcome. This is not the way to treat customers. The ironic thing was the next day there were loads of empty serviced pitches so had the warden just been difficult for the sake of it. Its no good complaining to the caravan club as they take no notice at all. They do need to retrain some of their staff who obviously are in the wrong job. The majority of Wardens are excellent but there is no excuse for rudeness.
