We have stayed here last year n had a lovely time, however this year when we arrived at noon we were told by the wardens that the regional manager had changed the time this year to one o clock and that, as there are no lay-bys we would have to go back through knaresborough to the coach park and wait till 1. The town is very busy on normal days the road leading to the caravan park is very narrow with steep inclines and hair pin bends which doesn't make for easy travelling on normal days but on Saturday 20th June when the main road through Harrogate was closed, due to a bike ride, therefore all traffic was diverted through knaresborough getting through there once was very stressful and being expected to do that another two times was very upsetting.  It took the warden longer to turn us away than it did to take payment and therefore book us on, so thank you for spoiling what should have been a restful two nights away from work at the NHS for me.
