The standard of this site is super. We had reason to contact site prior to arriving due to weather conditions and the staff were extremely helpful and helpful, something which continued throughout our stay. The site is fantastically clean and tidy, thanks to the hard work of all staff. The pitches are very generous indeed and mainly level. Using buses is quite easy with lots of info in the information room. It is also a pleasant walk into Knaresborough, Wednesday is market day and comes complete with town cryer. There are also some lovely walks in the Nidd Valley, accessed a short walk from the site. The Guy Fawkes Inn in Scotton is a pleasant spot for a pint or meal. However we ate at the Wanderer on site and the food was excellent, all freshly cooked and products sourced locally. A very pleasant spot to pass an evening. The site was quiet when we were there but I expect when it is busy a table reservation may be required. The staff are some of the friendliest we have come across, thank you for your hard work.
