Our first visit to this well located, recently redeveloped site, coincided with deep snow, high winds and below freezing temperatures. We did have the opportunity to see the excellent development work undertaken before it became buried in snow drifts. Excellent new play area and serviced pitches. The jewel in the crown is the on site restaurant, thoroughly enjoyed our meal, the service was exceptional. The wardens kept the facilities immaculate, despite all campers walking through snow and along the well gritted paths. This was our first ever winter camping experience, this site is well located for many visits and lovely walks. We will be back for sure! I have no hesitation at all in recommending this site to other club members and their families. Thank you very much to the wardens for making our visit an enjoyable and memorable one
