We stayed here for just two nights and I have to say contrary to other reviews the greeting was bright and cheerful. The warden on grass-cutting duties also identified the free pitches. We were pitched directly alongside the Bistro, there is some 'slight' humming from the equipment, but nothing that would keep you awake.  We walked from the site into the town which took us about 50 mins, Knaresborough itself is worth a look around with plenty of coffee shops and is dog friendly. We did have a take away from the Bistro, but remember to book early for a table and timing for your take away. Food was excellent. It does come fully plated which may surprise. The only element to note is when you turn at the traffic lights towards the site, the road does narrow some caution maybe required. Please do take note of the arrival times, which I believe are not correct on the App as there is limited arrival space.
