Lovely site but ....

Used this site lots of times, used to take dog out early evening and call in bar for 2 or 3 drinks BUT now no dogs allowed, and too cold to sit outside. Health and safety ??? Riduculous, so went to the lovely Guy Fawkes instead And had a meal with dog And we cancelled or restaurant booking on site.... Could understand if it's fine dining but, well, it's just basic chips with everything. Also needs another access area to dog field, not through the muddy path. Could easily put steps or slope at end of service pitch area. Otherwise a great well kept site

Did you enquire as to why dogs are now no allowed in the restraunt and mention to the site staff about the muddy path and your "remedy?"

I will be giving this restaurant a miss. I don't come away with my dogs to leave them in the campervan!!! Was the Guy Fawkes walking distance from the site?

Obviously a fad of some new people. Been going to this site for 20 years and always did allow dogs in the pub when it was a pub, the new restaurant is no different, in fact less pleasing than the old one they knocked down. Cold and unwelcoming. Nothing to do with health and hygiene either as I know the laws regarding that. What a shame they are losing lots of money with this silliness.
