After reading several negative reviews about the site restaurant it was with trepidation that the wife and I decided to eat there. Glad we did. It is a lovely looking place and one that could only be dreamed of as being part of a caravan site a few years ago. It's certainly the best-looking establishment I've come across at a caravan site. Just a pity the weather let it down in respect of the potential the front patio area would offer on a nice night. So onto the meal. First of all, a lovely pint of Blonde beer while we chose what to eat. We both chose the fish and chips. The wife and I agreed that they were lovely. We decided that we'd definitely use the place again. Two days later we called in again and this time I had the Wanderer burger., and my wife had the soup. My burger was probably the best I'd ever had, in a lifetime of eating burgers! My wife said it was one of the nicest bowls of Tomato soup she'd had, also! It seems that the bad reviews were as a result of teething problems when the place first opened. The staff had certainly got their act together on both occasions we dined there. Will definitely go again. P.S. The rest of the site's received a pretty good upgrade too! Share
