Had a lovely 4 days here and lots to do in York, Knaresborough and Harrogate. As it was wet and windy we used the bistro for a change of scenary. Food was generally very good but maybe the kids Menu needs to not try so hard. Chips rather than wedges as portions were quite large. Did feel a bit like we weren’t overly welcome in the bistro due to the kids but as ever they sat and ate and didn’t run around which is more than I can say for people’s dogs, not a fan of barking dogs being told to shush but still carrying on. It will be great in the summer being able to sit outside and have a nice pint. Wash facilities were excellent and I was offered help by a passing warden when the wind helped me with my awning!! Overall good and a lovely new playground that will appeal to many. Would like a pitch up there next time.
