Straightforward and well organised site, conveniently places about 1.5 miles from Knaresborough. The town of Knaresborough is a real gem and would highly recommend the less direct route via the Nidd forest gorge to reach the historic town. Lovely cafes and bars to visit as well as the impressive viaduct and view from the castle that are musts. Some comments about the on-site bar and restaurant seem very harsh as we found it extremely welcoming and the food and drink perfect for those easy nights on site as a break from cooking. Will definitely be coming again.
