We returned yesterday from our first visit to the site and cannot rate it highly enough. The facilities are excellent and exceptionally clean and the Bistro is a lovely addition, and we had a good meal in their on Friday night, our dog was also made most welcome. The site is a short distance from the Guy Fawkes Arms pub and a comfortable walk along the road into Knaresborough itself (we also walked to Knaresborough via the Nidd Gorge). Special thanks to the Warden who helped us get straight on our pitch as our Motor Mover failed and also to the kind gentleman who assisted with our Jockey Wheel problem yesterday (only our 3rd trip out so we are still learning!). We would highly recommend the site and can't wait to come back.
