Stayed at the Knaresborough site from the 6th to 11th October. We really enjoyed our stay. The site is very popular and was virtually full everyday. The site is well looked after, there is a little road noise but not too excessive. We were a bit cautious about trying The Wanderer restaurant after reading some bad reviews, but decided to give it a go. I'm glad we did, we ate there on 2 occasions, the food was excellent, good atmosphere and the staff are really friendly, we couldn't fault it. Being able to take our dog into the restaurant was a big positive for us and stops our dog from barking and annoying other caravanners if left in the caravan while we are out socialising.
