Just returned from the newly designed site. It is lovely. This has always been one of our favourite sites and it did not disappoint us. Arrived at 12 and the Wardens were brilliant, they asked everyone in the queue to hand in their membership cards and go find a pitch.They didn't want a backlog on the road. Excellent idea and worked a treat, everyone drove onto site and picked their pitch and then returned to site office to pay. No hassle at all. The site is laid out a little different with a change to the one way system but nothing that could cause a problem. The Wanderer Bistro - we were like others reluctant to try it as we had read the bad reviews but on our final evening there we went in and were very impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the whole ambience of the place. Excellent that dogs are allowed in, nothing unhygienic about that at all, The place was spotless. A bonus for all of us responsible dog owners. The food looked good and when we return to this site we will definitely have a meal there. Specials board and at what appeared to be good value for money.
