We have just had a wonderful week here! The site is lovely and clean and wardens were brilliant. The kids loved the bike and just cycling round the site. It was very quiet even though fully booked and had a lovely feel about the place. We felt we were in natures playground with the Nidd gorge a short walk away, we found rope swings, places for den building and skimming stones on our walk into knaresborough. In knaresborough we hired a row boat, had coffee by the Nidd and took the beryl burton cycle route back to camp. Within 20 minutes drive you can get to Brimham rocks and Fountains Abbey, both fabulous national trusts! There was so much to do around here we didn't get it all done, would definitely return.
