So, what percentage of club members are dog owners, happy to be because we are generally accepted without prejudice, except by this mean spirited individual! Two miles eh? Easy if you are of a certain age and level of fitness, and of course your beloved pet isn’t frail and elderly, something which will come to you one day, if you are lucky. I don’t know what disgusts me most, comments like this from narrow minded people, the censorship of free speech by the club or the victimisation of a large group of membership representatives by the facility offered to non-pet owners. As a regular to the site your restaurant will no longer benefit from my patronage.

Strange to see a dog friendly site with a non dog friendly restaurant!  I dislike dining with screaming kids nearby, especially the ones allowed to run around,  but I accept that I generally stay on family friendly sites and just put up with it in good humour! Seeing as there are plenty of people like us, dog owners who we eat out every night when we are away then the local dog friendly pub will benefit from the custom!
