We arrived just after 1pm on opening day to a lovely welcome from the friendly wardens. They'd obviously worked hard to get the site ready, and getting people in, and onto pitches was a top priority and was very well organised. Great facilities, especially the new bar/bistro. Probably one of the best sites we've stayed at, especially its proximity to Knaresborough, Harrogate, Ripley, etc. The list of lovely places within easy reach of this site is endless! Met some lovely folks while we were here, especially motor-homers Ian and Ann from Middlesborough, with their Dachsund 'Troy'.....and the sun shone too! Good times :-)
