We really enjoyed our first time visit to this site. It's in a great location with plenty to do. The new Bistro is a great asset to the site and we hope these can be expanded to more sites. All the staff and wardens were exceptional throughout our stay and I'd find it difficult to find fault with anything (except the patchy summer weather)! We've booked to return in a few weeks so we can explore the town and the area in more detail. If anyone is planning to stay here for the first time could I advise you to watch the first couple of corners coming out of Knaresborough, we found a few drivers giving little leeway to our outfit.
