This was our first visit to Knaresborough and will definitely not be the last. The weather was windy and cold but this was the only negative. The site was quiet and peaceful apart from the dull background sound from the adjacent farm which went on until 10pm. The staff were friendly and the bar was an added bonus which we used for a quick drink twice. Walking into Knaresborough was a delight and we had a pleasant walk around the town with a coffee in Nero's. We look forward to returning in 2016.
Knaresborough
This was my 1st time at knaresborough cc site brilliant site toilets block superb under floor heating the walk into knaresborough took about 20 mins which is fine the town is well worth a visit plenty to see and do train to Harrogate are regular cost £4 return 1 bad point the bistro on site is supposed to be open till 10 o'clock on a sat night we got in at 9.35 pm and told it's stopped serving so we left I don't see the point of having a notice saying open till 10 if your not abit disappointed due the the fact we came back early so we could have a drink with fellow caravaners besides that it is a fantastic site and I'll be going back again next year
Even awful awful weather did not put us off.
A week of truly awful weather will not put us off visiting Knaresborough again in spring or summer 2016.
The amenities were spot on, underfloor heating in the toilet/ shower block a real bonus.
Wardens very helpful and very apologetic about the terrible weather, as if they could help it.
Knaresborough good for shopping and pubs, The High Street Weatherspoons excellent.
Some nice river walks to be experienced on our next visit.
The one down side, we were on a pitch at the top of the site, and the noise from the local farms generator was a bit of a pain, it ran till 10pm most nights.
All in all we look forward to visiting here again, if we are able to book in to this very popular site.
Visit to Knaresborough CC
Unfortunately, the weather was very bad--very windy, rain, cold, but having looked around a little on our short stay, we hope to visit again for longer in the Spring. The site was very well kept, not necessarily geared up on site for children, but an excellent spot from which to walk and visit local places of interest--Bistro, good to have on site.

Super Site
Just had 5 nights at this wonderful site. Spotlessly clean in all respects, warm wash block . Wardens were extremely friendly and welcoming. This was our first visit but will definitely be returning.
A good 35 mins walk to Knaresborough where you can catch buses to various places, buses from site not so good and very expensive if you don't have bus pass.
The Guy Fawkes Arms in Scotton was brilliant, great food, guest ales, coal fire and fabulously friendly staff.
Congrats to the staff here, the site is a credit to you.
We will certainly be coming back.
Thank you.
Great site
First time out in our new motorhome, stayed here for 3 nights. Wardens very friendly, site spotless, facilities excellent. Half hour walk into Knaresborough on market day, lovely town. Following day took train to Harrogate from Knaresborough. Will certainly be back.
Hot-foot it to Knaresborough
Booked a night here on our way from Scotland to Norfolk in November. Expecting a bog-standard facilities block (pun intended), imagine our surprise and delight to find heated floors in the shower area. Luxury. Wow !
Par Execelance.
My wife Jan and I decided to trial our new van with central heating here at Knaresbourgh and boy now wonder it it difficult to book. Ros was fantastic as the first person you meet. The site is spotless the toilets like wise. The Bistro Wow. Excellent food comfortable and friendly. Price very reasonable. We'll be back as soon as booking is open later this year. 5stars are not enough an I don't review often but here is just lovely.

Perfect relaxation
We booked here for weekend break and were not disappointed. The weather was variable thus decided to walk into Knaresborough - perfect coffee and scone in the square. As the weather improved we decided to dust off our bikes and cycled into Ripley. The site wardens were friendly and helpful. The Bistro is a little gem - ideal to relax over chilled G&T and Fish & Chips. Will definitely return
Bistro bonus
Just returned after four nights. This site is the best with hard working wardens. I wont go on about early arrivals, that's a matter for them to consider. The bistro is fantastic, the two lads who were working when I was there were first class. the food was excellent.
