Friendly and helpful wardens on this lovely well kept and clean site. The toilet block was spotless as were the other facilities. Good location for walks from the site, exploring the local area or just as a stopover when touring Western Scotland. If cash is needed and the local post office is closed there is no cash machine in the immediate area. The midges can be a nuisance, so go prepared or go earlier in the season, if possible. However, the site shop stocks midge repellent, nets and citronella candles. We would definitely use this site again.
