Site is small, friendly and very peaceful though on a crossroads to some of the most wonderful scenery and eateries. We had a truly relaxed stay and felt very honoured to be in such beautiful countryside with mountains, lochs and trees surrounding us. Facilities on site are excellent, clean and handy for all site users. We didn't find the locked toilet block a problem and would prefer this situation especially when having a shower. Have locking doors at home so don't see this as a problem. Excellent little dog walk attached to the site for early morning/late evening wee stops and fabulous walks nearby. Lots of information of the area within the site and great facilities in Kinlochewe itself - petrol station, post office, cafes and hotel with pub that accepts dogs. Staff were very welcoming and friendly and couldn't have been more helpful during our stay. We did take midgie repellent with us and they were out in force morning and evening but after the first night we got used to them??
