Good for families

Great site spoiled by obsessive security

We arrived on site after a long journey around 3.30pm to find the office shut and wished to use the toilets which were locked (both yale outer and keypad inner door) and had to go behind bushes - both embarrassing and unecessary. We were not the only guests arrving who had to do this! When we got checked in the warden said that the key system does cause problems. Kinlochleven is hardly a high crime area and we discovered later that there are public toilets in the village so why is this site different from all the others we have used in Scotland.

Do you not have facilities on board?

When you were checked in was any reason given for office being closed? Usually it is possible to 'summon' the wardens with a bell or similar.

Locked toilets are a nuisance especially if you need to use late night areas on sites that have both.

both embarrassing and necessary. We were not the only guests arriving who had to do this!

I am surprised that others had to do this. We have a toilet available in the caravan.

Quite a few sites operate with wardens absent for a short while. Never heard of anyone using the hedgerow due to this!!

Disgusting. There's a high chance that everyone doing this has a toilet in their van so there's no need to use the bushes. It's definitely unecessary and you should be embarrassed at your behaviour

Review beggars belief. Says little about the site but a lot about the review writer. I for one wouldn't want you as a neighbour, either on a site or more permanently. You should be ashamed.
