We have just returned from a five night stay. Excellent walking and cycling opportunities in the local area. The village has a garage, two stores, a pub and two cafe's and so there was nothing that we needed that we could not find in Kinlochewe. The site is brilliantly well maintained and the facilities are spotless. I particularly appreciated the drying room and the mountain weather forecast that is posted in the information hut each day. There are of course midges at this time of year in Scotland but the site reception stocked lots os options for managing them and Susan the warden is very informative about midge management! The site is very quiet, particularly in the far section away from the road where the best views are also to be found. A welcoming and peaceful site that is perfect for an active holiday.
