A beautiful little site in an amazing location. Warden couldn't be more helpful. Told us about local amenities, shops. dogs friendly pub in the hotel, fuel from the next door garage and, because we had dogs, told us about the local walks, how long they would take to complete and what we might see when we were out. The forest is on your doorstep and the local visor centre a mile and a half from the site. You can watch the squirrels and birds from the hides as the centre and enjoy the peace and quiet of either a lowland or slightly more testing hill walk. With a hotel  just across the road from the site, you don't even have to cook. The food was delicious. All the amenities you expect from a CC site and the site itself was immaculately kept. We will be back.
