This is our "go to" local site. Well laid out and extremely friendly staff. It's quite clearly described on the club site as being in National Trust woodland, so you should realise that there will be lots of trees. The river Kent running alongside is a lovely bonus. I'd give it 100% for a relaxing stay.

We've enjoyed several stays on this site, travelling across from Ireland. We're looking forward to our return trip next month. It IS in a forest so folks should expect trees and shade - I think this is part of iits charm. We've previously visited in early May when the wild flowers, including bluebells and wild garlic are in abundance and make the area very pleasant and peaceful. Lovely walk to the local farm shop for breakie and The Strictland Arms is a nice uphill stroll for a pint and some nice food in the evening. Even easier on the way back as it's downhill all the way! Embrace what this site has got to offer but if you don't like trees and woodland, maybe it's not for you.....
