The small pitching areas among the trees make this site special.  There has been a lot of coppicing work and a several pitches are now much lighter.  Shower blocks are good, clean and as expected for a good club site.  Recommend it. Lakes are currently very quiet after their bad winter but things are now well on the way back to normal.  There are odd places still undergoing work but nothing that affects enjoyment for visitors.  The main road from Grasmere to Keswick is open and empty.  No one seems to have noticed.  Full of admiration for what has been done.
