Arrived early afternoon with a few outfits checking in. Staff friendly and efficient. We were given a map of the site and told to report back with our pitch number. The site is quite tight with small alcoves of 5/6 pitches in each, this made it difficult to turn round if no suitable pitch was available. We could not leave our outfit and walk as we would have blocked the main service road. After two unsuccessful journeys into these alcoves we settled on a pitch which, although not directly under trees, was uneven from side to side by about 4 inches! We found the tv point ok and the reception was acceptable. We could not have been further from either of the toilet blocks with a severe uphill walk on the way back. There is a nice pub 15/20 mins walk from the site along quiet lanes which gives discount to Members. Overall quiet site but not everybody's cup of tea!
