perfect site ruined by inconsiderate caravan next door
We have been coming to Kendal for the last three years and call it our wind down site. It is not a long trip for us and usually as soon as we roll up to the office feel the stresses of every day dropping off. So we had booked a mid week break with the view to do just that.
When we got to site we found a pitch and set up the caravan. While setting up we parked the car on the section for the awning as easier to unload the car. Once level and all services on stopped to have a cup of tea. It was then that we noticed the caravan next door had set up their caravan on the skew (not at 90 degrees to the peg). They then set up their awning, but that resulted in us not being able to move the car around to the correct location to park, this meant that we could not put our awning up.
Then once he had set up his awning he put his music on, and he started talking to his wife, very loudly. this was the same for the evenings as well.
As a result we did not have the relaxing break we planned for. We did mention it to the wardens but they though the caravan was OK and we could park the car further down.
I think if the car had been there it might have helped to block out some of the noise.
