Have used the site a couple of times now for a night stopover on the way south from north of Scotland into England/Wales and it is very well positioned wrt the motorway for this Although lovely with the great amount of trees which affects almost all the pitches it tends to make the site gloomy and when it rains your van is hammered with water. Comments on the hillyness of certain parts of the site roads have already been made, after one visit, you are familiar wrt to the pitches to avoid in future. Site facilities are good with very helpful wardens, the site's position to Kendal is good for all your necessary requirements.
