First time we had been here and it’s definitely one of the best sites we have been to. Beautiful location set in woods with some lovely secluded pitches. Its close to Kendal for supermarkets and petrol and less than half an hour to Windermere , Ambleside etc.The road in does have a lot of potholes but is easy to drive along with passing places. The wardens were superb ,very friendly and helpful and keep the site immaculate. Plenty of water points around the site. The laundrette was very useful , tokens are bought at reception.TV reception was poor . Lovely farm shop and cafe a short walk away and a longer walk along the river into Kendal. Will definitely go again
