Off the beaten track
This is a quiet, secluded site amongst woodland, yet only minutes away from the M6. You wouldn’t know it was there. A very interesting site, with ruins of an old gunpowder factory, with water diverted from nearby River Kent onto water wheels (no longer there). A friendly welcome, and dogs are allowed into Reception. You will need a car to visit local pubs and eateries, and maybe not a site for sunbathers. But we will certainly come again.
