Lovely Site

3rd time here this year!  We have stayed each bank holiday and a week at the end of May.  It was lovely to see the forest change as the leaves began to cover the trees. Lovely walks in the area - especially one to Kendal. Great for young kids, as they can explore the woods, climb trees and make camps - Just as kids should do. This large site is broken up into small Cul-de-sacs of 5 or 6 pitches, so it never feels cramped or overlooked.  Only negative is that due to the trees some pitches can be very shaded (Obviously).  The site is kept in immaculate condition and the wardens are so helpful (thank You) We'll be back...
