Loved this site

Spent 4 nights on this site in August and loved it. Situated in a wooded area and you feel that you could be in the Canadian wilderness, without the wild bears luckily.  There is a choice off secluded individual pitches, shaded amongst the trees giving almost complete privacy, or more open pitches beside 3 or 4 others, these tend to be more open to any sunshine.  The shower blocks were clean and warm. The wardens were very helpful and amongst the friendlies that we have come across.  Although there is a children's play area, I wouldn't say that it was a site I would particularly recomende for young families.  Plenty of dog walking nearby. Because of the narrow twisting roads around the site, I was glad this  was not my very first introduction to caravaning, but ok if you are carefull. All in all very good site which we will be using again, as long as the Bears stay away.
