Absolutely love this site for so many reasons. The setting is picture perfect, the history behind it is fascinating, there are so many walks from the site so no need to use the car, there is a beautiful Farm shop within walking distance, there are 2 interesting Houses to walk to and visit and a local pub when it re-opens, and, as always, the site is immaculate and so well maintained even with Covid restrictions. It is just a pity that there are some who either ignore the rules or who don't even read them - it must drive the site staff mad. Will be booking again this year if there is space. Sadly the wild garlic that "scents" the air will have finished but there are so many different birds to watch and listen to plus deer and other wild life. Fabulous.
