We’ve just returned from a wonderful stay at this site. Very friendly wardens who did there best to help you out As others have said the ground is particularly hard on this site so harder to get your pegs in, thankfully we didn’t have any high winds Loved the little cluster of caravans as all hidden amongst the trees and wild flowers. The walks along the river with the smell of wild garlic was amazing with a hidden waterfall! We saw a Herron on the river fishing, which was amazing. The road too and from the site is scary with the pot holes especially when towing a large caravan, very slow and steady gets you through it Some amazing ruins of past buildings on site Road works at night you could hear slightly during the night if you woke up Local farm shop is a must a great little cafe
