26th - 30th September- The site facilities are very good indeed. The individual pitches in small size areas are a great idea. We really enjoyed our visit even though it was the worst weather I’ve experienced in the Lake District ever!! A couple of niggles though. 1. The road off the main highway is a single track with passing places. But the closer to get to the site the narrower and more pothole filled the road becomes. Unseasoned towers should proceed with care. 2. Many of the pitches are very uneven so remember to take your levelling ramps with you Other than these 2 issues you will enjoy your stay at this site!
