Kendal Site
We stayed at this site in August and really enjoyed it. The site is easy to find and the road leading to it is narrow but there are passing points so didn't find it too bad. There were plenty of pitches to choose from, some were under the trees and others more open. We chose under the trees and it was fine and didn't seem dark at all in fact it shaded us from the heat, the pitch was level and even when the site got busy it was very quiet at night.
The TV reception was fine but struggled to get ITV so id recommend a TV booster cable which are sold on site if you don't have one and each pitch has a booster socket.
Didn't have any trouble with the Wi-Fi.
The staff are lovely, very friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. There are two toilet/shower blocks which were clean and good and there was always a shower available.
There are plenty of walks in the woods around the site and a short walk through the woods following the paths there is a nice farm shop.
My dogs and little boy loved paddling in the river Kent at the bottom of the site and he loved the little fish swimming around his feet.
Overall I would recommend this site if you want a nice relaxing holiday which we experienced and would be visiting again.
