This was an unusual site in that it was located on the site of an old gunpowder mill. Running alongside is the river Kent, ideal for anglers who can fish it with a permit and appropriate rod license. The sites are set at different levels and quite well spaced out providing the opportunity enjoy a pitch on a more secluded site. Many are shaded and this might prove a consideration for those with Photovoltaic cells on their roof. The wooded location provided the opportunity for plenty of en site walking. The club amenities were up to the usual good standards.
