The site is very simple to access with easy road access. Our arrival was seamless (as with most C&M sites) and the staff were friendly helpful and keen to make our stay enjoyable. We had help and advice choosing a pitch and we settled for a wooded pitch (67) very near to all services. The site is very spread out and not at all open so you do get the illusion of being quite secluded due to all the trees. For us this was perfect as we also had the playground at the rear of our pitch and it is after all our 2year olds caravan! There are many great walks of varying length from the site and one takes you to a lovely farm shop and café without the need to cross a road. We also indulged in the local free range produce for sale just off the site over the suspension bridge. All in all this was a great place to base ourselves for a 5 day stay in the lakes. The staff always stopped and chatted to us. The baby change and other facilities were very clean. COVID19 measures were in place and seemed to be followed. We loved it. Thank you
