We have stayed here at the Easter break year on year and we will be booking again. Lovely kept site , spotlessly clean toilets and amenities, set in a disused gun powder works /quarry, it has everything you would want from the amazing walks along the river to a walk to the pub or a car 5 minute journey to Kendal. The kids love it here, and always make friends , make dens and so on, we don't see them as they are always out playing! The one down side to this site is the access via a narrow road, but if you time it right and after 12 noon you wont have issues. The chippy van is good too and is quite reasonable for prices - Booking again as soon as I can!
