It was my first visit to this site. I was a single traveller with my dog. Felt very safe the whole time. Plenty of hot water for showers which are always immaculately clean as are the toilets and wash room facilities. Close to Kendal for amenities and essentials. Great base to explore the lakes. The beautiful river Kent runs alongside the site but was running very fast due to the rain. You can hear the owls at night. Excellently laid out with single secluded spots to several pitches in blades of their own. All electric hook up. The staff were meticulous in cleanliness, even a person walking about with a leaf blower daily keeping the road surfaces clear of slippery leaves and debris. All in all a fab stay and would definitely recommend a visit. Great!
