We used the site as a stop over returning from Devon to NE Scotland. Very well situated just off the M6 for a stop over. The road inside the site does have some tight turns but we managed with a pick up and T/A caravan, so a pretty long rig, just take your time and you'll get round no problem. Warden was very helpful by saving us a pitch that was suitable for a T/A caravan as we ended up arriving late due to traffic on M6. Would certainly consider a longer stay here next time. A 10 minute walk takes you to the Strickland Arms which serves good food.
