Beautiful woodland flowers
Our first visit to the site, we stayed for 2 days. We were lucky to time our visit with blue skies and a stunning display of bluebells and wild garlic in the woods.
It seemed as though the winter flooding had caused some damage to the riverside walkways, but there were plenty of lovely walks through the woods.
Very peaceful and Sizergh Castle (National Trust) is walking distance.
Very friendly and helpful wardens :-)
