We’re touring the UK and decided to stop off for two weeks at Kendal. The staff were extremely friendly and very chilled out. The site is a gorgeous higgledy piggledy mix of pitches, some surrounded by woodland flowers and at the upper part of the site you’re nestled in the woods. The most beautiful river runs through the site and you will be spoilt for choice with dog walks. A farm shop is just a hop, skip and jump from the site, which is handy as the selection of groceries on site can only be purchased with cash. The only little niggle is the noise from the nearby main road, but you soon zone that out after a few days. You’ll get an excellent WiFi signal with EE.
