Bank holiday fun
We booked this site over the bank holiday weekend and it was full so everything was tested to the max.
The wardens where always flying around ready to help and kept a smile on there face even when people where turning up 2 hours early and expecting to be accommodated ! I watched one getting irate and rude to them but he just stayed polite and smiled.
The pitches are set in bays in the woods so it is dark all the time they are also over three levels so if you struggle with your legs I would give this one a miss.
There is a great pub that takes dogs and does nice food 20 mins away and there is a farm shop you can walk down a track to that serves amazing milkshake so give it a try.
We also booked a taxi into Kendal they take dogs so we had a day out there we really enjoyed are stay and I would return but if your a sun worshiper it’s not for you.
