Just returned from our 4th trip to this site this year already. We have been visiting here for best part of 30 years and remains our favourite of all the cc sites. This year the wardens are better than ever, and we've already booked for September! A couple of points though, it is such a shame the cc have decided to change its name from the original Low Park Wood to plain Kendal, it doesn't do it justice, and I so wish they had seasonal pitches as Id be first in the queue! Yes it is very wooded but that just adds to the magic of the place. Admittedly quite a few are hard to get into especially if you have no motor mover, and many would benefit from levelling out with extra hardcore as they fall away quite badly and even the hardest of rock pegs get bent badly, it will never prevent us from remaining regulars though! see you again in 7 weeks
