A pleasure to come back
Just returned after spending the bank holiday weekend at Kendal. I have stayed before but this is the first time this year.
The site was full at time of booking and I managed to get a late availability pitch.
On arrival the wardens were very friendly and kindly marked available pitches onto the site plan for me. I live this site and try to get a different pitch each time. Honestly each pitch is like a different site. Pitches are split up very nicely and their is an abundance of wildlife everywhere.
This time due to lack of pitches available I set up near the park. It was not too bad (we I have to say I expected worse). Only the odd out of control child but on the whole very respectful parents and children.
A short walk from the site is the local pub. It serves good food and an ok selections of beers although not many on cask.
The campsite office sells local bacon / bread etc etc and also tv Ariel extension cables. Each pitch has an Ariel plug you can make use of.
All the staff on this site that I spoke to were extremely friendly and helpful and always stopped for a quick chat.
I will be returning before the end of the season!
Thank you Kendal!!
