This is a pleasant and well run site, and we have been here at least twice before, its very handy for the motorway if you are travelling north or south, and only about half an hour from the attractions of Windermere. We had no trouble finding a pitch for our Motorhome amongst the hard standings sitting in please glades amongst the trees, you an if you feel energetic walk the few miles into Kendal following the river, or walk across the fields to the farm shop and also Sizergh castle; where, with the current meal support from the government we enjoyed an afternoon cream tea for two with coffee for the price of £5.00 There is also a pub within a short walk The wardens are very helpful and the site is clean and very tidy
