1st Trip out since Lockdown Aug 2020
Easy access from motorway however stick to your arrival times as the road in is a little narrow and features a few potholes. Face mask required for reception area and supplied with covid pack of bands for showers. Barrier access with a fob and onto the site. The site pitches are level and situated in the woods but there's a lot of up and down roads/paths so, if you have mobility issues you may want to pitch near the facilities. The site info is very clear on what you can and cant do in this crazy time - although the wristband system is a little hit and miss, so dont stand a queue if there are wristbands as often no one is in the toilets/showers as they have forgotten their band... or like me, had it pinched off the hook -. Just off site is a bridge over the river into a great outdoor space for all ages that leads to a fabulous walk of 11 miles - can be cows in the field too. As is expected, site is clean and well maintained, wardens were friendly and Friday night is Pizza van night. Been a few times and never disappoints.
